Latin American History

The history of Latin America is the product of many different cultures.

Latin America extends from Mexico to the Patagonia and it is home to people of Amerindian, African and European descent as well as immigrants from all parts of the world.

The word "Latin" in Latin American refers to those countries whose language is based on Latin such as Spanish, Portuguese and French.
