The Inca Civilization
The Inca empire came to be in South America sometime during the thirteenth century AD. The Inca rulers governed a large region of the Andes, from southern Colombia to northern Chile and Argentina.
The Inca developed great military might and an extensive chain of roads that allowed fluent movement and trade along a region having some of the highest mountains in the continent.
